To Be Totally Honest with you, I resisted Intermittent Fasting, I didn’t want to start another what I thought was a "DIET.”
I’d almost resorted to thinking feeling good in my body was just sorta over for me!
I was SO SICK of STARTING ON MONDAY, my hormones were out of whack, at 46 I’ve literally “dieted,” measured, weighed, and restricted myself for over 75% of my life and I was just done!
No More - I wanted something sustainable that would help me keep my weight in control (a healthy weight is important to me), give me energy so I could be active, and let me live a HAPPY AND HEALTHY LIFE withOUT restriction!
So the more I thought and read about Intermittent Fasting, saw other people seeing massive success with it (my 60 yr old favourite aunt lost over 30lbs in 3 months), I got curious...again!
YES, I’d tried this before, but before it was for the WRONG REASONS --- I just wanted ABS! This time it was FOR much different reasons!
This time it was about the constant bloating, brain fog, discomfort, inflammation, complete exhaustion…obsession with food, and my constant yo-yo weight gain...
What used to work for me to get my weight under control WAS NOT WORKING anymore and I was so TIRED of it!
So I starting researching!
After all of these years I discovered that I had been burning SUGAR instead of FAT!
I was a sugar burner not a fat burner. Once I understood this principle and got the TOOLS and INFO to make the changes I needed everything and I mean EVERYTHING made sense and I started to see SUCCESS!!
Now This is My Life:
+ I’m sleeping like a baby...
+ Bloat is gone…
+ I’ve lost weight...
+ I don’t deny (anything), I delay.
+ I don't crave sugary treats.
+ My head is clear.
+ I can go more than 2-3 hours without NEEDING food.
+ I never need a nap...
+ I ran a 5K...
+ Inches are peeling off me…
+ I got through the summer holidays without RESTRICTING, feeling GUILTY around food and NOT ONE POUND GAINED!!
I’ve gone through a complete appetite correction, I understand TRUE hunger now, and I am repairing my hormones daily so my body can work FOR me not against me!
I couple this with my #foodfreedom + #bodykindness principles that I’ve been working on for the past several years, PLUS my at home workouts that I’ve loved forever, and I do believe this was the last missing link for me to SUSTAINABLE HEALTHY LIVING!
